Hi, I'm Nick
Facilitator, learning designer, and certified Mental Health First Aid instructor.

At the heart of what I do is a simple idea: meaningful learning can lead to real change. I work with schools and organisations to create learning experiences that meet people where they’re at and help them grow; individually and together.

With a background in teacher training, workshop facilitation, and designing professional learning, I help teams navigate challenges, strengthen their connections, and build the skills they need to thrive. Well-being and soft skills are a big focus in my work, because I believe they’re essential; not just nice to have.

Whether we’re training your team in Mental Health First Aid, designing a CPD session, improving team dynamics, or exploring how systems connect, I bring a practical, creative, and people-first approach to every project.

5 Things to Know About Me
1. I’ve got global roots
My career has taken me from Australia to South Africa and Germany, and I’ve had the privilege of working in schools like CBC in Adelaide, St Michael’s Grammar in Melbourne, The Ridge School in South Africa, and Phorms Frankfurt in Germany. These experiences have shaped my global perspective on education and influence the way I approach every challenge in my work.
2. Well-being is at the heart of what I do
Teacher and community well-being is foundational to creating thriving schools. I believe that when educators are supported and there’s a strong connection between staff, students, and families, everything else falls into place. That’s why I’m also a certified Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) instructor; I’m passionate about equipping people with the tools to recognise and respond to mental health issues, making sure support is there when it’s needed most.
It’s part of my broader commitment to building healthy, resilient communities.
3. I love a challenge
At 41, I entered my first Hyrox fitness competition; a grueling test of physical and mental endurance. It pushed me to my limits and taught me a lot about perseverance and growth. I’m also an avid road cyclist, always seeking new routes across Europe. These experiences remind me that growth often happens when we step out of our comfort zones and push ourselves beyond what we think we’re capable of.

4. Facilitation is my thing

I specialise in soft skills facilitation; helping schools and organisations develop strong communication, collaboration, and leadership within their teams. My journey includes training at Hyper Island, which really shaped my approach to creative, human-centered learning. With a Bachelor of Education from the University of South Australia and a Post Graduate Diploma in Educational Leadership and Management from the University of Portsmouth, I bring a solid foundation to the work I do.
But what I really enjoy is creating environments where people feel safe to learn, grow, and connect in ways that feel authentic.
5. Innovation is key
Whether it’s rethinking how schools engage with parents or finding new ways to make thinking visible in the classroom, I thrive on discovering creative, practical solutions to help schools and teams reach their full potential. My international experience and diverse qualifications give me the tools to approach every challenge with fresh ideas and an open mind.
